DAVIDE'S DREAM WAS TO REDEVELOP THE LAND OF HIS ANCESTORS AND TO REVIVE THE HILLY AREA OF NOVARA, WHERE HE WAS BORN AND RAISED, BRINGING IT BACK TO ITS HEYDAY, WHEN ALL THE LAND WAS CULTIVATED BY LOCAL FAMILIES.
The Davide Carlone farm was born from this boyhood dream 30 years ago. From 3,500 metres of vineyard, the estate has grown to 11 hectares, also thanks to Davide’s sister Michela, who has always been at her brother’s side. The farm boasts ancient roots that are steeped in a strong family tradition going back to the distant 1880s. Its story is one of genuine passion, which has grown over three centuries, handed down from father to son. Skilled hands have followed one another over time, from generation to generation, transferring love and respect for this land inhabited by the Teruggi and Zanolini families, Davide’s ancestors. The family’s winemaking history thus lives on intact in the tenacity and dedication of this now expert winemaker who, with great stubbornness, everyday interweaves past and future, authentic values, ancient traditions and innovation.
